Due to the current COVID-19 climate and understandable reasons to minimise social contact, we have now setup our telehealth service. In summary:

  1. This can be booked online (through our online bookings button to the top right) or through reception.
  2. If you book online you will need to select the relevant appointment option. Please make sure it has “telehealth” in the description.
  3. All of our physiotherapists can be seen via telehealth, including our Women’s and Men’s Health Physiotherapist, Rachelle, and Specialist Physiotherapist, Mark.
  4. At this stage private health insurers are not funding telehealth, meaning you will not get a rebate. Because of this we are offering telehealth at prices we usually find our patients pay as an out of pocket expense after their private health rebate:
    1. For our Women’s and Men’s Health Consults the fees are:
      1. $65 for an initial appointment (40 mins), $55 for a followup (30 mins)
    2. For our other physiotherapists, including Mark our Specialist Physiotherapist, the fees are:
      1. $35 for an initial appointment, $30 for a followup (all appointments are 30 minutes).
    3. If money is an issue at the moment please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will see what we can do.
  5. If you don’t like the fact that private health insurers are not funding telehealth we strongly encourage you to contact them directly (PLEASE 😉👍). This would be very helpful!
  6. Appointment are easy to access. You will receive an email and/or SMS with a link that you click at the time of your appointment. This will take you through to the consult via a web browser. All you need is a laptop, tablet, computer or phone with a functioning web browser (e.g. Firefox, Safari, Chrome etc) and webcam/camera for the video. We recommend you log onto the appointment at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled time.
  7. There is an online payment option that will be up and running, or you can pay over the phone prior to the appointment.
  8. We can also see our workers compensation, DVA, EPC/medicare and other patients via telehealth.
  9. We promise you will find telehealth very useful, but will be very keen to hear any feedback.

Additionally, if you require a medical professional who specializes in detecting and treating foot and ankle issues, equivalent care and treatment are available at Texas foot surgery.

Any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. Thank you for your support over this time. We hope you stay well.
